St. Louis Cardinals Adam Wainwright (11-5, 5.08 ERA) will be facing Chicago Cubs’ Jon Lester (6-6, 4.07 ERA) for their second game of the series. Will the Cubs have a comeback from their loss or will the Cardinals take the win again at Wrigley Field?

On the other hand, Cub’s Anthony Rizzo (.254/ .377/ .507, .884 OPS) has had the most at bats against Wainwright (40); he is posting a .275 batting average, .348 OBP, .375 slugging average with a .723 OPS against the Cardinals’ righty.

Prediction

The Cardinal’s starting pitcher has more experience than Lester. Wainwright is also currently on a win streak of four games, meanwhile Lester just got a win from three straight losses. The only redeeming factor from the Cubs is their batting but most of them haven’t had a lot of success against Wainwright.
